The Missing Piece
For this series of three :15 broadcast spots, Wendy’s leaned into their trademark wit to make a simple point: Wendy’s without the Wendy’s app just isn’t the same. Each spot delivers a quick, irreverent visual gag: a burger without fresh beef, a Frosty without fries, nuggs without sauce, to drive home the value of the app in a way that feels playful, not promotional.
We handled a streamlined in-studio tabletop shoot, capturing all food photography and product moments with precision and style. Spacejunk led all post-production, including edit, color, finishing, and screen replacements on the phones, as well as subtle VFX to sell the visual jokes. The result is a tight, high-impact campaign that’s as visually satisfying as it is funny—perfectly in step with Wendy’s bold, no-nonsense brand voice.
