Seamless modern banking
Hancock Whitney Bank wanted to show that modern banking doesn’t live in a branch; it lives in the in-between moments of real life. Before coffee. After midnight snacks. Between work and workouts. Before the bus. After homework. Our job was to bring that idea to life in a way that felt effortless, human, and visually delightful.
Working with Peter Mayer, we created two fully animated 30-second broadcast spots —one consumer-facing and one small-business-focused, alongside :15 cutdowns. Both spots were built around a series of seamless visual transitions, flowing from one moment to the next without hard cuts, mirroring the ease and continuity of the app experience itself.
Stylistically, we leaned into a clean, modern 2D look with soft gradients, simplified shapes, and warm, approachable character design. The environments feel lived-in and relatable—kitchens, desks, buses, late-night tables—while the motion design keeps everything fluid and connected. Every transition was carefully choreographed so scenes morph naturally into the next, reinforcing the idea that banking can fit smoothly into any part of your day.
Spacejunk handled design, illustration, animation, and finishing across all deliverables. The result is a pair of spots that feel simple, smart, and human—exactly how mobile banking should feel.
