Penguins at Play
For this series of :15 broadcast spots for the Georgia Aquarium, we partnered with ASO Advertising to bring their penguin characters to life in a playful, unexpected way. ASO developed the concepts and scripts, and we handled the full production and post pipeline.
We traveled on location to the aquarium and shot live-action plates in the dolphin spaces, carefully planning camera moves, lighting, and blocking to ensure seamless integration with animation. Using existing 3D penguin models, our team rigged, animated, lit, and composited each character into the real-world environments, matching reflections, shadows, water interaction, and perspective so the penguins truly felt like they belonged in the space.
The result was a series of fun, high-energy spots that blended live action and CG in a way that felt natural, charming, and technically invisible, letting the humor and personality of the penguins shine while spotlighting the aquarium experience.
