Let Us Surprise You

We had the honor this fall of being among the first studios to produce a video campaign for the new Designer Shoe Warehouse brand. Along with casting, styling, and art direction, Spacejunk introduced a unique post treatment that created a continuous left-to-right dolly effect throughout the spot.

This required some extra consideration in pre-production to ensure that camera height, distance from subject, and talents' eyelines would all create a single believable space when composited together.

The post workflow presented new challenges for our team to overcome. Editors not only needed to select the best takes with DSW's product priorities in mind, but also to rough in the dolly movement for approval before handing off to our animation team for roto, compositing, graphics, cleanup, etc.
